Pauline Virginia Fincham Daniels

Pauline Virginia Fincham Daniels, 89, a native of Adolph, a former resident of Elkins, and more recently a resident of the Bridgeport Health Care Center at Bridgeport, went home to be with the Lord Saturday evening, Dec. 9, 2017, at the United Hospital Center at Bridgeport. She had been in declining health although death was unexpected.

She was born Wednesday, Feb. 8, 1928, at Cassity, a daughter of the late Clarence E. and Mary Beatrice Shiflett Fincham.

On Feb. 7, 1951, she was married to Maynard Howard Daniels, who preceded her in death Oct. 19, 1965.

Surviving are one son, Paul Fincham and wife Joyce of Newton Falls, Ohio; three daughters, Karen Moyer and husband Richard of Anmoore, Kay Scott and husband George of Elkins, Mary Summerfield and husband Kenny of Blue Rock; two stepsons, Edgar “Eddie” Daniels and wife Sharon of Hambleton, Donald “Donnie” Daniels and wife LaJuana of Artesia, New Mexico; two brothers, Elbert “Lee” Fincham of Dailey, Clyde Fincham and wife Eleanor of Mogadore, Ohio; three sisters, Maxine Tinney of Orrtanna, Pennsylvania, Dortha Campbell and husband Dillard of Maryland, Lora “Jean” Smith and husband Loman of New Brunswick, Ohio; nine grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and six stepgreat-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death are one daughter, Sherry Jean Daniels; three brothers, Kelvin, Coleman and James Fincham; and two sisters, Delma P. and Patty Jo Fincham.

Pauline attended the schools of Cassity, and was a homemaker and loving mother. She attended the Memorial Mission Church at Mill Creek and enjoyed flowers and reading her Bible.

The family will receive friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Elkins from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Final Rites will be conducted at the funeral home Friday, Dec. 15, at 11 a.m. The Rev. Dr. Ken Shiflet will officiate and interment will follow at the Fincham Chapel Cemetery at Adolph.
