Debra P. Ware Goodwin
Debra P. Ware Goodwin, 58, a resident of Titusville, Florida, passed away Monday, Feb. 5, 2018, at her home. She was in her usual health and death was attributed to cardiac arrest.
She was born June 2, 1959, in Elkins, the daughter of Darrell and Patricia Davis Ware, who survive at Dailey.
On Oct. 30, 1993, she was united in marriage to Dan Goodwin, who survives in Florida. Also surviving are her mother-in-law, Nelda Loudin Goodwin, of Concord, North Carolina; and several other relatives; and her beloved cats.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Dale and Orpha Higgins Ware, and her maternal grandparents, Harold and Retha Malcomb Davis.
Deb attended the Homestead School in Dailey, graduated from Tygart Valley High School with the Class of 1977 and later graduated from Davis & Elkins College. She owned and operated an accounting and tax service business along with a landscaping business in Florida. Her hobby was making jewelry.
Debra and her husband enjoyed being active members of the First Christian Church of Titusville, Florida.
Friends may call from 5 until 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14, at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, from the funeral home chapel with Kent Price, minister, officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain State Memorial Gardens at Gilman.
