Brenda Ann Watson Delauder
Mrs. Brenda Ann Watson Delauder, 52, a resident of Junior, departed this life Saturday, Sept. 1, 2018, in the Davis Medical Center Emergency Department at Ekins. She had been in declining health; however, death was sudden and unexpected.
She was born April 14, 1966, at Elkins, a daughter of the late Thurman Harvey and Dessie Essie Fansler Watson.
On Oct. 30, 1984, she was united in marriage to John Wade Delauder, who preceded her in death on Feb. 4, 2003.
Left to cherish her memory are one son, Dustin Delauder and wife, Autumn, of Beverly; two daughters, Lesley Williams and wife, Shelly, of Junior; Amber Delauder and companion, Danny Hedrick, of Junior; two brothers, Ricky Watson and wife, Roxanne, of Junior, and Roger Watson and wife, Debbie of Belington; four sisters, Janet Shifflet, of Junior, Edna Trail and husband, Tim, of South Carolina, Wilma Spencer, of Harrisonburg, Va., and Barbara Thompson and husband, Clinton, of Philippi.
Also surviving are grandchildren, Ava, John, Addyson, Hadlee, Alyssa, Danny, Monica, McKenzie, Madison, Alexis, David, Pyper, Little Rodney, Tosha, Ryan, Samantha, and Cheyene; and her loving companion Junior George, of Junior.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by four brothers, Harvey, Delmas, Donnie and Danny Watson; one sister, Mary Jane Hosey; and one grandson, Dustin Junior.
Brenda attended the schools of Barbour County and had been employed at Wendy’s, Nellas Nursing Home, and lastly at Hardees. She thoroughly enjoyed helping with the Country Beauty Twirlers group and was affectionately referred to as mom and granny by many.
She was Pentecostal by faith and will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
Friends will be received at the Talbott Funeral Home 56 N. Brandenburg Street in Belington, from 6 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2018, and again on Wednesday, Sept. 5. 2018, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. the funeral hour when final rites will be conducted from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. A.H. Belt officiating. Interment will then follow in the Trinity Cemetery near Junior.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Talbott Funeral Home, P.O. Box 879, Belington, WV 26250 to help with her final expenses.
