Glenna M. Ketchem, 79, a resident of Philippi, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Monday, Dec. 3, 2018.
Glenna was born April 28, 1939, in Philippi, a daughter of the late Norval “Archie” Finley and Blanche (Simpson) Delauder and stepfather, Jim Delauder.
Surviving are three daughters, Kelli (Ketchem) Shomo and fiance Jim Ganoe of Philippi, Kim (Ketchem) Mitchell and husband Larry Mitchell of Arden and Lisa (Ketchem) Brown and husband Lonny of Philippi; sister, Lou Thomason of West Palm Beach, Florida; five grandchildren, Rachelle “Shelly” Wolfe, Billy Lee Brown, Jenna Brown, Parker Mitchell and Maggie Mitchell; and four great-grandchildren, Tyler Shomo, Madalynn Wolfe, Brock Wolfe and Easton Brown.
Glenna was preceded in death by two brothers, grandson, Derek Shomo, and great-grandson, Derek Matthew Wolfe
Glenna worked as a nurse’s aide for the Good Samaritan Center for several years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Glenna’s request for cremation will be honored.
