Lelia M. Killingsworth

KILLINGSWORTH

Lelia M. Killingsworth, 89, formerly of Huttonsville, passed away on Dec. 25, 2018 at her residence in Florida.

She was born on Jan. 5, 1929, in Mill Creek, and work several jobs, but most notably, she worked as a factory worker and also she worked for physicians in their residences. Lelia was of the Pentecostal faith and enjoyed cooking, baking and playing word search puzzles. She is fondly remembered as being immaculate in her cleaning.

She was predeceased by her husband, Orville Killingsworth in 2001, after 54 years of marriage; her father, Clarence Mick; mother, Lona “Puggie” Hammonds and sister, Louise Phillips.

Lelia is survived by her children, Rodger Killingsworth of Cortland, Ohio and Haines City, Florida, Sue Smith of Sandyville and Davenport, Florida, Steve Killingsworth of Vero Beach, Florida; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, Jan. 5, from 11 a.m. until the funeral at 2 p.m. at Randolph Funeral Home, 158 Meadow Lane, Valley Bend, WV 26293.
