Mary L. McGee “Mary Lou”

Mrs. McGee was born in 1943, in Washington, D.C., the daughter of the late Sam and Mary Shreve.

She graduated from Annandale High School and was co-owner of McGee’s Crane Rental Inc. Mrs. McGee attended Welltown United Methodist Church.

She married Hubert Ronald McGee on June 10, 1966. in Annandale, Virginia.

Surviving with her husband of 52 years is a daughter, Mary “Donnie” McGee-Fincham (Jim Sakole) of Clear Brook, Virginia; sons, Ronnie McGee (Heather) of Manassas, Virginia, and Kelly McGee (Ilona) of Round Hill, Virginia; son-in-law, Jamie Campbell; grandchildren, Cory, Kaleigh, Nate, Cody, Kristin, Lauren, Braydon, Blake, Connor, Carson, and Anna Belle; great-grandson, Finn; sister, Joyce Reeves (Donald) of Oakton, Virginia; and beloved canine companion, Patches.

Mrs. McGee was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimmie Campbell; sister, Grace Simpkins; brothers, John and Donald Gill; and her canine companion, Cole.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 – 9 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 22, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 am on Saturday at Riverton United Methodist Church, 55 E. Strasburg Rd., Front Royal, Virginia with Pastor C. Marc Roberson officiating. Interment will be Sunday, Feb. 24, at 1 pm in Old Brick Church Cemetery, Bell Church Road, Huttonsville.

Serving as pallbearers will be Nathan Williams, Cory Fincham, Jamie Campbell, Jesse McGee, Jason Simpson and Kelly McGee.
