Debra “Debbie” Arlene Murphy Arbogast, 60, a resident of Beverly, passed from this life Friday, Aug. 9, 2019, at home. She had been in her usual health and death was unexpected.
Debbie was born Sunday, Aug. 17, 1958, in Parsons, a daughter of the late Boyd Murphy and Mary Louise Allender Murphy.
On Feb. 28, 1978, in Parsons, she married Kenneth Doyle Arbogast, who survives. They had celebrated 40 years of marriage.
Also left to cherish her memory are four children, Angie Klinck and husband Charles of Panama City Beach, Florida, Joyce Arbogast and fiance David Fields of Baltimore, Maryland, Kent Arbogast of Beverly, and Luke Arbogast and wife Jennifer of Berkley Springs, two stepchildren, Kenny Arbogast of Columbia, Maryland, Tracy Arbogast and fiancee Denise of Romney, seven grandchildren, Destinee Murphy, Maria Pena-Ariet, Dallas, Tristan, Ashton, Coral, and Chasity Arbogast, four siblings, Bob Pratt and wife Connie of Elkins, Bill Pratt and wife Rachel of Orlando, Florida, David Murphy of Elkins, and Linda Helmick of Hambleton, and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death besides her parents was one granddaughter, Natalee Arbogast.
Debbie attended school in Parsons and had been employed as a supervisor at Printing Images in Rockville, Maryland, until her retirement. She was a great and loving wife, mother, and grandmother and a wonderful housekeeper. She was a strong, hardworking woman that was also a compassionate caregiver who would help anyone she could. She enjoyed painting ceramics and working in her flower garden. She loved animals, especially the many dogs she had over the years.
Visitation will be held at Randolph Funeral Home Wednesday, Aug. 14, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., the funeral hour. The Rev. Lonnie Daniels will officiate and interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Dailey.
