Barbour County digs out from under flash-flooding debris
Hello from Barbour County! I guess the main news from the area is the flood damage that we have experienced. Roads were closed and one home was destroyed, displacing the family. Folks in the Mt. Liberty area, who have lived there all their lives, said that they have never seen water over the bridge like it was last week. Then, this week, the Philippi area was under water. The small bridge behind the Philippi car wash was totally destroyed, and many homes in the Nestorville area were hit with flood waters. Prayers go out to all affected.
