Chamber welcomes new executive director

The Buckhannon-Upshur Chamber of Commerce would like to take this opportunity to welcome the newest member to our executive team. Tammy Reger will now be working with us in the capacity of executive director.

Tammy joined the chamber staff in November 2012, serving as administrative assistant. Since then, she has worked diligently to fulfill the duties of her office as well as working above and beyond the expectations given to her by the executive board and board of directors.

“We are proud to have Tammy represent our Chamber on both the local and state levels. I have full confidence that Tammy’s creative thinking and initiative will continue to move our Chamber in a positive direction,” said Sam Nolte, president of the Buckhannon-Upshur Chamber of Commerce.

Tammy is a member of the West Virginia Strawberry Festival Executive Board. Tammy, her husband Billy and daughter Emma reside in Buckhannon. Billy is a contractor sales representative for 84 Lumber and Emma will be attending sixth grade at Buckhannon-Upshur Middle School in the fall.

Members of the Chamber’s executive board and board of directors welcome everyone to visit our new location at 14 East Main Street in downtown Buckhannon. Chamber offices are open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The office can also be reached by calling 304-472-1722.

The Buckhannon-Upshur Chamber of Commerce is committed to serving as the voice of business in Upshur County.
