Committee gives thanks for help

The Buckhannon Dog Park Committee offers a great big thank-you to everyone who was involved with the first-ever Bark Bingo June 11 at the Moose.

The Buckhannon Dog Park Committee is working to establish a dog park that will be an added enhancement to the River Walk trail. They are collaborating with the city of Buckhannon and West Virginia Wesleyan College to develop a park for canines and humans alike while maintaining the beauty of the area.

We welcomed more than 100 people, both locals and visitors, ranging in age from 10 to well beyond 80. It was a true community gathering, offering fellowship and fun for everyone.

Special thanks to the amazing volunteers from Rainbow Girls Chapter 24: Candy Long (Mother), Jessica Grose (Assistant Mother Advisor), Sarah Davison (Worthy Advisor); and other girls in attendance: Madison Grose, Emily Dowell, Makenzie Grose, Annie Kendall, Megyn Gould and Kaitlyn Smith.
