TVHS Homecoming deemed a success
On behalf of the TVHS Alumni Association I would like to offer sincere thanks to the following groups and individuals for helping to make the TVHS Homecoming 2018 a huge success.
First and foremost, thanks to Tom Wamsley for everything you did to make the weekend a huge success. You attended every meeting, hosted a hugely successful basketball tournament, and provided so much guidance throughout the year. Our committee could not have succeeded without you.
Secondly, I would like to thank the members of the planning committee who worked tirelessly from August 2017 through July 8, 2018. Your dedication is unparalleled. Steve Wamsley, Raymond Godwin, Cathy Jones, Melissa Walters, Ron Bartlett, Donetta Bird, Debbie Shaffer, Nora Lambert, Ann and Bill Vance, Ellen Fortney, Tammy and Clint Hamrick, and Lisa Townsend, you are all great leaders. Logan Comer, you are an extraordinary photographer. Blazin Barbeque, Samantha and J.B. Stalnaker, Bunji Elmore and Shane and the crew from the 1863 Bar and Grill all provided valuable services. Thank you.
Thank you to all 39 donors to the GoFundMe account. You successfully raised $3,085 to benefit TVHS.
Thanks to every business or individual that contributed an item to the silent auction. In addition, Kaylee Halterman, Miss Tygart Valley’s Outstanding Teen, TVHS FFA Advisor Lee Wright, Aarin Smith Rose and other members of the TVHS FFA also contributed so much time to help us out.
