Reader: Let’s stop dancing around truth

W. Royal Stokes’ Aug. 31 letter contained quite an impressive list of Democratic achievements, most of which are old “social” programs designed to trap, ensnare and restrain the recipients. Most of the programs Stokes mentioned were passed long before the Democrats fell off their rocker.

He omitted several other achievements, such as the Missouri Compromise, the Kansas-Nebraska Act to expand slavery into the northern states, the Dred Scott Decision, Fugitive Slave Laws, and their opposition of the 13th Amendment to end slavery, the 14th to give blacks citizenship, the 15th to give blacks the right to vote, and their attempt to destroy the 1867 Reconstruction Act.

Now, they’re using children to demoralize the country by teaching deviant lifestyles in our public schools. If you don’t believe it, check out your child’s textbooks. They want to eliminate the Electoral College, strip law abiding citizens of their Second Amendment rights, and destroy America using illegal immigration.

Stokes mentioned the “Elementary and Secondary, and Higher Education Acts.” We’re seeing the results of that legislation playing out in our schools today, carefully guided by another Democrat disaster, the U.S. Department of Education.

Carter created it on May 4, 1980, after the Department of Health, Education, and Welfare split into the Department of Education and the Department of Health and Human Services, via the Department of Education Organization Act. After it was established in 1980, the U.S. fell from first to 17th place globally in education by 2010.

Let’s quit dancing around the truth and be honest. Democrats aren’t your friend, and if we aren’t careful, America will cease to exist. Our Constitution was written to protect us from people like Pelosi, Schumer and Nadler. Once the “Red Flag” votes are cast, a complete list of “Benedict Arnolds” will emerge.

And to set Mr. Stokes’ mind at ease, I was referring to the “Socialist Democrats in Congress” when I said, “Democrat are the lowest form of life on earth.” Maybe I should have used “traitor?” The Red Flag laws violate the second, fifth and sixth amendments, and any member of Congress supporting it is in violation of the Constitution. Plain and simple!
