Olympic Closing Ceremony

Team USA ended with a total of 104 medals, 46 of them gold. USA did a great job at the games. Way to Go, USA! Next, the summer games go to Rio in 2016. The Olympic Flag will once again fly in 2014 at the winter games in Sochi, Russia. Michael Phelps won a total of 22 medals in his career including 18 Gold, 2 Silver, and 2 Bronze. Usian Bolt won the 100 and 200, and relay gold medals for Jamaica. Missy Franklin won 4 gold medals, and Ryan Lochte won 5 medals in swimming. The US soccer team won gold, and the women's water polo team also got gold. The US women's track team set world records in the 4 X 400 relay and the 4 X 100 relay. The US women's swim team captured 8 gold medals. The US men's and women's basketball teams also captured gold medals. The USA wrestling team captured 2 gold medals in the games. The US women's gymnastics team won team gold. The FAB 5 did it together. There will be some British rock music at the closing ceremonies, with bands like The Who and the Spice Girls.
