Ford Ecoboost 400 for the Nascar Sprint Championship

The final Nascar race of the 2012 season was held at Homestead Miami Raceway. It was either Brad Keselowski or Jimmie Johnson for the Sprint Cup title. Johnson headed to the pit and the garage with 40 laps to go, forfeiting championship for Jimmie Johnson. Brad Keselowski is in the points lead and won the Sprint Cup title.

It was car owner Roger Penske's 1st Nascar Championship. The #18 or Kyle Busch had the lead in the race. Johnson had drive shaft problems with the #48 Lowes Chevrolet. The pit crew was in the garage trying to repair it and send Johnson back out to the track to finish the race.

The #24 of Jeff Gordon took over the lead in the race with nine laps to go. Jeff Gordon won the Ford Ecoboost 400 race. Brad Keselowski is the 2012 Nascar Sprint Cup Champion.
