2012 Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl

The Rice Owls battled the Air Force Academy Falcons at Fort Worth, Texas. The score at the half was 14 to 7 in favor of Air Force. The Rice Owls took the lead in the third quarters with a score of 21 to 14. In the 4th quarter, Rice and the offense were going for another score to put the pressure on the Falcons of Air Force. Rice have stars and stripes on their helmets for this bowl game, as well as a stripe of red, white, and blue. Air Force has two of their war bombers, the B2 and the F22 Raptor. Rice scored a field goal, taking the lead 24 to 14.

In the end, the Rice Owls defeated the Air Force Falcons by a final of 33 to 14 to win The Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl Trophy.
