TUMC names Tenneys members of the month
CHARLES AND YVONNDA TENNEY
Tennerton United Methodist Church officials have announced that Charles and Yvonnda Tenney are the church Members of the Month for November. The couple is being recognized as faithful members and honored for their commitment and devotion to the Lord. Yvonnda Tenney grew up in the church and joined in the early 1950s. Charles Tenney grew up in the Romines Mill E.U.B. Church and transferred membership to TUMC after the couple were married in 1959. Yvonnda Tenney has been a Sunday school teacher and is now a substitute teacher for the older adult class. In the past, she has been the Sunday school superintendent, PPR committee member and chairperson, choir member, vacation Bible school coordinator and U.M. Youth fellowship leader. She is a past president of United Methodist Women and now serves as correspondent secretary. In addition, she serves as nurture/visitation coordinator and a Sunday morning greeter.
