I know you liberals think we should let every pinhead dictator in the world run all over us, and you could care less about helping someone with military support, probably because you're afraid you might be called to serve, but most of us don't feel that way. Saddam Hussein got exactly what he deserved, as did his sons.
Wait until you get your next paycheck. You will see what Obama done for you when you start taking home about $70 less in your paycheck each pay period. Then you'll see how the Bush tax cuts benefitted you. And yes, the government can keep gas prices down by doing one thing, taking crude oil off the commodities market. Gas was cheap until some bonehead decided to put it on the commodities market where the speculators could drive gas prices through the roof. Obama's buddy, the Rockefellers have been robbing the people blind for years, and he allowed it to happen. Gas has never been higher than it has under Obama. I suggest you get the facts straight.
