Frustrated by VA’s slow progress on application

It took me 2 years to get my disability claim processed and I got all the back pay at once. I'm not sure how VA Aid and Attendance benefits work but with a disability claim, you get back pay from the date that the claim was filed. It is a terrible shame that the VA is such a waste of tax payers' dollars. I ended up finding the Huntington Regional office's phone number and actually got to talk to someone down there and it wasn't long at all and it was processed. I hope you get it fixed soon. With Obama taking more and more of our $$ there will be more and more people filing for help of every kind that they can think of which will jam up the system even more. Good luck!
