We need to follow suit with Texas. When you hold public office in Texas, you had better not get rid of the job you had when you were elected. Legislators in Texas have a set number of days to get done what needs to be done. Once this is done, and at the end of the allotted time, they go home, their pay stops, and they reenter the workforce. The clowns in Washington have far too much time on their hands to sit on their ass, writing useless legislation that has nothing to do with the business of running our country. Secondly, you can't trust attorneys with the amount of power given to these people when they take office. Like rats, they will invade every corner of American society and spread the disease of liberalism like a wildfire. We must stop allowing these people to write legislation. Allow them to provide a rough draft to an outside firm, and provide the voters with the final draft for approval. To keep things above board, we must change the firm drafting the legislation often.

We must never forget, power corrupts, ultimate pewer corrupts ultimately. We must also impose term limits on all government offices, and every public official must be elected, from the USSC down. No more appointed positions. Appointed positions creates corruption and slants judgements in a particular direction, as with the USSC. Had Obama been successful in loading the USSC with left-thinking justices, the honest people of this country wouldn't stand a chance of obtaining justice in the highest court in the land. We are nearly to that point now. If we aren't careful, the 2nd amendment will fall, and the rest of the constitution will soon follow.
