I bet he was a lonely kid when he was growing up. If was a big of a sore loser then as he is now, I bet he spent a lot of time playing by himself.

I "support" our new Sheriff. It's too bad the losing candidate can't be mature enough to do the same. He just keeps proving how right we were in our choice!!

Hmm...I guess this "proves" that Upshur Countians DID make the right decision by NOT voting for the pessimistic and agitating Taylor. I know I did!

I'm going to offer a little friendly advice. All of the people you made ill references to in your letter are well thought of all over Upshur County, and you sure didn't do yourself any favors by trying to make them look bad. The ONLY thing you accomplished was to lower the people's opinion of you even more.
You seem to be the only person confused about the sheriff. I will guarantee you this. There is no confusion among the people of Upshur County. We know who the sheriff is, and who will never carry enough votes to be sheriff. Is that plain enough for you? If there's any confusion, I'll be glad to clear it up for you. Clint Eastwood said it best, "A man's got to know his limitations."
