Suggestions could lead to better deer seasons

The state legislature did a stupid thing when they left it up to the individual counties to decide on Sunday hunting. Since most churches these days think with their collection plate, they went into a panic over the possibility of losing revenue if some of their members opted out of Sunday services to go hunting. They never once considered the possibility of some of their members needing the meat to feed their families.

When the legislature left it up to the individual counties, I knew it Sunday hunting was dead, and frankly, I believe the legislature knew that too. The bill needs to be brought up again, and revised to make it legal to hunt on Sunday. It would bring more revenue to the state, and help those who need the meat.
