July 20, 2013

“Better the occasional faults of a government that lives in a spirit of charity,” Franklin Roosevelt intoned in 1936, “than the consistent omissions of a government frozen in the ice of its own......

Obama cares nothing about dems or republicans. He's not discriminating about whom his polcies harm. Dictators have no friends; only those they can bribe and pull around by the nose. Thus; Joe Biden, vice-nose hook.

DNC is finished. And they did it to themselves. Arrogantly acting and self-absorbed morons. They know it's payback time next election. That is why most dems including Rockefeller refuse to run again; they KNOW they are NOT getting re-elected ever again.

Obama and democrats left the entire country behind. They acted like the uneducated, spoiled, greedy, selfish, self-absorbed crooks and theives that they always were over the past 6 years! Now, they see their re-elections in jeopardy as their constituents are 'fighting' back and going to give them exactly what they deserve; a FIRING of MASS PROPORTION come election day!!! Enjoy your unemployment stinking crooks!

Unions getting exactly what they deserve. THEY stood with the liberals while Obama/Reid/Pelosi arrogantly snubbed their noses at ALL PEOPLE IN AMERICA when they went AGAINST majority of voters and passed ILLEGALLY all their SOCIALIST/COMMUNIST legislation. NOW they're seeing that the left in this country really don't care about ANYONE but themselves. Enjoy your trip. You earned it. LOLOL.

You're right about the union movement, with the exception of the public employee unions that are strangling cities and states. (Detroit.) Today, the federal government and its social welfare programs have rendered the unions useless. That has created some tension, and we see that in the disputes over Obamacare. I can see a time when the unions become non-partisan and tell their members to vote however they like.

The only "payback" Obama seems to be trying (unsuccessfully, so far) is in appointees to the NLRB.

He's essentially driving a wedge between the party and the unions.

Happy days.
