The 2010 election created a GOP majority in the House. Since that time, the only legislation of note is the continuing attempts to repeal the ACA. The number of votes taken on this issue is now...40. The Senate will not vote to repeal and President Obama would veto any bill that made it to his desk. It's a waste of time. In addition to the average of twelve days per month which Eric Cantor has devised as the DC work schedule, the GOP House has done nothing to create jobs or improve the economy. President Obama's attempts to negotiate with Speaker Boehner have been met with obstruction from House members who represent the extremist Tea Party. ACA is the law and the Supreme Court has upheld the mandate.

Get over it, Mr.Moore and all you Obstructionist, conspiracy loving right-wingers. It's the law of the land. If they would do less bellyaching and more negotiating something just might get accomplished. It's real easy to blame one man for the countries problems instead of looking at what is really going on with the people we send to Washington to represent us. All they care about is lining their own pockets through their "special interest", corporate and wealthy friends who don't want to pay their employees fair wages and give decent health insurance benefits and look down from their high horses at the "little guy" that slaves for him.

Liberal fools still love the Stupidest president ever as he continues making 'false promises' to them that he can't and won't keep. I'm not sure at what point and at what number LIE Obama and dems tell their followers before they wake up and realize they're being used BECAUSE of their utter gullibleness and naive characters. Uh....in other more understandable words....YOU'RE all too stupid to 'think' for yourselves and it's obvious you LOVE believing LIES over facts and truths. THAT is why you're always be on govt assistance and never work your own selves out of your own poverty and ignorance.

By the way, playfare....lol....where's all that so called "tolerance of others" that you lying lefties like to proclaim at your convenience? Where's all that love for your fellow man you lefties like to brag about yet never seem to 'show' the country???? And the DNC wonders why they're looked upon after this arrogant Obama and his clowns in senate for all these years as a bunch of lo

You cannot fix STUPID. The country has tried. Obama won't listen to facts or common sense. So Stupid just keeps deceiving and lying one lie after another and Americans shake their heads in embarrassment that we are cursed to have such a stupid, uneducated man with the mind of a little child attempting to do a real mans job and failing miserably.

play, you need to reread Mr. Moore's column. And Obama has never wanted to work with Republicans. He had his little sit-down with them before Obamacare was passed. He wanted their input. He then promptly rejected all of it. It's his way or the highway. Always has been, which is why nothing gets done. You need to stop drinking the kool-aide. It's poisoned your "mind." Even the unions that supported Obama don't want Obamacare. So why do you want it? As has been shown, it it bad, and now those who continue to back it do so because they can't admit they were wrong in the first place. I would guess you're one of those.

solutions, you have been lied to...again. And you clearly do not understand how bills become laws. The President can negotiate with House and Senate leaders but it is the legislative branch of the government, known as Congress, which creates laws. ACA contains hundreds of republican amendments. ACA is based on the state-wide health insurance program in Massachusetts, signed into law by republican governor, Mitt Romney.

I see that the "Fans of the Middleclass eating vermin" are out to defend their heroes ( Boehner, McConnell and Tea Party ). I not going to argue with you. I have a mind of my own and I think independently without the programing of a party that undermines those who support it into believing that they actually give a rats backside about the "real working man". Ole George, he's just a mouthpiece for the "Vermin" out to make this a county a place where the wealthy run the rest of the country into the ground........

play, the last time I checked, the real working man didn't want Obamacare, witness the views of the three major unions. The regretable thing is that people like you are going to be hurt the most by Obamacare. This president is really putting it to the unskilled, while rewarding his rich buddies who kicked into his campaign. Too bad you're too ignorant to recognize that. Bye.

You are proving my point, solutions. You are incapable of reasonable debate because you lack information based on facts. I guarantee that by this time next year, the republican party, through the GOP Media Machine known as FoxNews, will have convinced you to stop calling ACA "Obamacare". You will be programmed to call it, "The Best Idea The GOP Ever Came Up With".

Advances medical liability reform through grants to States: Provides grants to States to jump-start and evaluate promising medical liability reform ideas to put patient safety first, prevent medical errors, and reduce liability premiums. What Is? Over one hundred republican amendments attached to Obamacare.

nellie, you're so predictable. You google each of the items you mentioned. The Patient Choice Act of 2013, for example, is tied up in committee. How can you tell if a liberal is lying? His/her lips move.

How can you tell if a Liberal is giving you the facts? Research for yourself AND try to use some common sense. The Patients' Choice Act which is included in ACA was sponsored by Senators Coburn and Burr and Congressmen Ryan and Nunes (see original post). It is the Patients' Choice Act of...2009. ACA was signed into law 3/23/10.

nellie, you do understand the legislative process, don't you? The PCA of 2009 died in committee. It is not part of obamacare. Never has been. It was a good idea, but the Dems opposed, and it didn't stand a chance. Obama wouldn't have signed off on it, either.

The GOP keeps introducing the PCA every year, but the dems block it. The PCA of 2013 is in committee right now, but it will die, also.

Wishing does not make it so, nellie. Are you sure you aren't a closet Republican?

solutions, you are as usual, beating a dead horse. I provided just one example of the hundreds of republican amendments included in ACA. This is the link you can refer to: white house dot gov / health - care - meeting / republican - ideas

You are wrong and will continue to waste your time attempting to prove otherwise. Frankly, you bore me. You are a typical republican - closeted or out.

Ever notice how only What and Nellie KNOW what's showing on Fox? Apparently they watch it often. I don't have cable or satellite tv; only Netflix. NO FOX NEWS CHANNEL. Yet they 'claim' they don't like Fox news. Bwahaha.....just one more 'closet' liberal attempting to fool everyone around them. It's okay you two if you watch Fox. lol.
