Obama remains a polarizing figure

August 3, 2013

For Barack Obama, his fifth year must seem a dull repeat. Once more a tour around the country to drum up support for initiatives seemingly permanently stalled in Congres....

So the opinion stated here is that President Obama is at fault because he cannot transform the liars and grifters who lead the republican party into responsible leaders with a legitimate agenda.

Obama and senate democrats like Reid and Pelosi ARE the LIARS!!! But their ignorant followers are just like them so they just refuse to even look at FACTS. Facts get in their way of their evil agendas. They want to be able to control everyone and NOT just the ignorant ones that follow them now and support their wicked deeds and lies. It's not going to happen. Thank God theirs more intelligent people left in this country than stupid ones. Enjoy your miserable govt assistance daily life liberals because as long as you all keep demanding free govt handouts....your life will never be a happy one. It's obvious because the left are the most INTOLERANT, ANGRY, MISERABLE bunch of losers a generation has ever witnessed. Ignorance is NOT bliss. But for some ungodly reason, they think it is.

TruthSeeker, are you aware that Nancy Pelosi is the former Speaker of the House? Are you aware that the republicans hold the majority in the House? Do you know how bills become laws?

nellie, your comments do not deserve a response. You rely on Huffington for your "information," which explains all we need to know about your views. You're incapable of original thought based on logic. I have a doorknob that has more intellegence than you.

I'm going to assume, solutions, that you are also unaware that Nancy Pelosi is the former Speaker of the House. You clearly do not understand how the US government works and you are unable to engage in reasonable debate because you lack facts and reliable information. Your comments reflect your lack of information from reliable sources.

nellie, what is your hangup on Pelosi? Of course she's former speaker of the House. And the only reason she's in the House at all is because the people of San Francisco are nuts.

One more time, solutions...Do you know who is the current Speaker of the House and to which political party the Speaker belongs?

Yes, I know, and do you know who the majority leader of the Senate is? And which party controls the Senate? And which party controls the White House. Democrats run government; a party in cotrol of only one chamber of the legislative branch cannot govern. The mess we have today is caused by the Democrats. And even the unions realize that. How in the world can you quarrel with the Teamsters?

OK, solutions, you clearly have no idea about how the US government works (and I used that word advisedly). May I suggest the YouTube version of School House Rocks "How a Bill Becomes Law"?

The Speaker of the House, whose name appears to have escaped you, presents bills for votes. The current Speaker claims to use the Hastert Rule, but he does not. This REPUBLICAN Speaker cannot get legislation passed without the support of the Democrats. The House republicans represent the complete chaos and division which exists in the party. As an example of how ineffective the House is, the 13th vote was taken to defund ACORN. ACORN ceased to exist in 2010.

nellie, you apparently have run out of arguments, because you've resorted to character assassination. Goodbye.

solutions, if I wanted to resort to "character assassination", you would have an opportunity to make a case for libel. As it is, I have suggested that you are not only wrong about the information you post but that you do not know how the government of the United States works. You and the other Baggers on this forum have spouted your foolish lies and misinformation and have maligned Liberals, Dems, the President of the United States and any other people with whom you disagree. When you are the recipient of intelligent and fairly courteous dissent, you fold. Typical republican.

Nellie, do you even know who has control of house and senate? LOL.

In first several years, DEMOCRATS had control of WH, HOUSE and SENATE. THus they ONLY voted for disastrous taxation known as Obamacare. NO conservative voted for it.

You're ignorant on matters of govt. Educate yourself.
