If they really want to be THE number #1 newspaper; they should REPORT NEWS and not make it up and not show favoritism for their favorite celebrity, political figure, president, etc..... Unfortunately we don't get NEWS today; we get insignificant garbage! Once your 'credibility' is gone; you're finished!! Look at Obama and democrats today; they lied for the entire Obama administration and no one believes anything they have to say now.

No one who gets their faux-news and misinformation from FoxNoise and forms opinions based on the babbling of Rush Limbaugh and the rantings of RW Hate Talkers should be commenting on the quality of any media.

The GOP is alive and well and vibrant. The Dems have run out of ideas and candidates, which explains why they're pushing Hillary, who's only claim to fame is being married to a scumbag. Anyone who supports Hillary (and that's almost all in the Democratic Party) is really desperate. She couldn't even get her Benghazi stories straight. And she wants to be president? We'd be better off with Weiner in the White House.

Right you are, Joe. The GOP is now the Clown Car Mash-Up. They will rerun their crazies through the primaries which will include the Usual Suspects and the republican voters will get to pick the lesser of all evils. Buy popcorn...

nellie, and you'll back Hillary out of blind, and I do mean blind, allegience to the Democrats. You're one of the reasons the nation is so screwed up today. I'll bet you have a serious case of hero worship when it comes to Bill Clinton.

You are obsessed with Hillary Clinton, solutions. If I were you, I'd focus on the Clowns the GOP has to offer and see if you can identify one that doesn't belong in jail, on Comedy Central or locked up in a padded cell.

nellie, why don't you want to focus on Hillary? Could it be because the Democratic bench is so thin, and the only person you and your liberal friends can come up with is Hillary? Talk about her, please. The GOP is awash in potential candidates; the Democrats have only one, and she's been a loser for a long time.

Again, solutions, you are obsessed with a potential presidential candidate whose credentials are well known. You are also being repetitive which is simply annoying.

nellie, you're running away from Hillary. Since you don't want to talk about her (I really don't blame you), goodbye.

What, pay attention. The Post has been failing, and our country is the worse for it.

Did you read Moore's column? What do you think of the "salon" idea? Is that how a respected newspaper behaves, selling access to its reporters in off-the-record meetings? I don't think so.

You need to go back to journalism school.

What, what planet are you from?

The Post publishing fiction as fact and winning a Pulitzer Prize that had to be given back certainly tells me the paper ain't so great.

There are plenty of newspapers that are doing just fine because they produce a quality product. Blaming the Post's problems on the Internet is a copout.

And as for you being a journalist, there are journalists and there are journalists. Given your posts, I'd guess you weren't very good at it.

What, then explain Salongate to everybody.

Would a reputatable newspaper climb in bed with the government on something like Obamacare? Selling off-the-record access to the paper (and the paper gets off-the-record access to sources) is not the way reputable newspapers operate.

The Post has a culture of liberal bias, and it has shown itself over the years. That's why the false story got into the paper and was even nominated for a Pulitzer. Everybody, including Woodward, wanted desperately to believe it, and the usual filters that would catch something like that were not in place. And the same problem exists with its reporting in general. There is an institutional liberal bias, and objectivety is irrelevent.

What, Yyou need to check the figures from the Alliance for Audited Media. An example of a paper that gained is the Desert Morning News in Salt Lake City. Up 15 percent from 2011 to 2012. There are others. You just have to look for them.

Careful Solutions.....too much truth and facts causes screams and outbursts of anger like What just did. The new definition of mentally unstable (by the liberals in psychiatrics) recently stated that outbursts of anger like that defines "mentally unstable." Hmm....only radical left are shocked by that.
