HUTTONSVILLE — Gathered around a small kitchen table, Kevin and Stacy White longingly gaze at the photos strewn about....

Thank all of you for your kindness. I've learned to live with the loss, but I am reminded of my son aften. Three days ago would have been my son's birthday. He would have been 39. I know what the White family is going through, and I wish them only the best. Without my wonderful wife, and the support of my friends, and the grace of God, I don't know what I would have done. My son was a little older than Dusty, but the similarities are amazing. Like Dusty, he loved to hunt and fish. He hated to be inside and spent as much time outdoors as possible. My peace came in knowing there's no such thing as a perfect crime. My son's murderer will stand before God, and at last, justice will be served.

My heart goes out to the family & all of Dustin's friends! I did not know him personally but it's a sad situation anyway you look at it. This is a very well stated article, and I believe these are the things that should be posted daily things that's really hit our communities hard! Very well. May Dustin live forever in your hearts
Puremagix, There are evil people in high places in Randolph County and in every corner of America. They are sworn to protect their own. When you see blatant injustice that just makes no sense, this is why. They will all be repaid by Almighty God. Rest in His eternal justice.

Years ago I too endured an horrendous "ordeal" and received NO justice from the Randolph County or state justice systems ... and from what I have seen and heard as of late, that system is no better now ... too many self-serving individuals are involved ...
My heart goes out to these parents who lost a son to violence. And Pure, I know we don't always agree but I am sorry for your loss as well. The lack of justice makes your story especially sad...this is the worst loss any parent may endure.
Puremagix's post is great! I can tell he has moved on but with questions. You cannot bring Dustin back in this life. The bible states; "press on", Press on. Things happen when we get ourselves into comfrontations. I have been in parties where I felt it was time to leave..rite now in my younger years. Later learned a shooting occurred or etc. As parents we must be vigilent parents. Let go and let the justice system put this criminal away for the rest of his life. Press On!
I certainly hope justice will be served. It is rare these days to see justice prevail in our courts since the onset of political correctness. I too lost a son in a similar manner. No one was arrested, no one prosecuted and there was no investigation into the matter. We witnessed a total breakdown of the system. We had several people who came to us claiming we were being lied to about what happened, many of which were told to move after contacting us. To make a long story short, my son is dead, and whom ever it was that killed him still walks the streets. I pray you have better luck with the system than we had.
