Obama remains unflappable

First, the unemployment rate isn't down, it's misrepresented. They are counting the numbers once again where benefits ran out for thousands on unemployment. An old trick used by the Democrats for decades to hide the real numbers. And second, socialism is alive and kicking in Congress and the ACA is living proof that it is. When the people are forced to purchase anything by the government, that's socialism. When the government infringes on your rights and breeches the Constitution, that's socialism. When the president legislates from the Oval Office via executive decisions, that's socialism. When a president creates his own private army that answers only to him (FEMA & The Black Panthers), that's socialism. Of couse, Turner and his minions are so busy kissing Obama's ass they are too deaf, blind and dumb to realize what's going on around them. Like Hitler's minions, they'll find out, when they're are standing in front of the socialist's firing squad. More useful idiots.

It is refreshing to see an even-handed, open-minded op-ed in which facts are being discussed rather than people being demonized. We all have opinions and most folks see both sides when invited to discuss points of view rationally. Yet for too long in American news the ratings wars have spawned partisan journalists who goad and bait viewers with extreme positions and statements, which of course brings out the extremes on both sides. I am heartened by the tone of this op-ed piece, because it lays out facts and encourages our better natures to come forward and share our points of view while allowing others to do the same. Most of all, it encourages the broader spectrum of ideas to come forward - not just the extremes. This is what journalism does best. Thanks Dr. Turner.

Yep! Unflappable liar in chief. President Stompy Feet. Liberals are so 'proud' of adults acting like little babies. The left loved being lied to; it's the reality that they cannot handle.

Truthseeker, what in the h*** is wrong with you? For a couple of years now I have read (and tried to respond) to your rants, but I really think you have a loose screw. I'm no doctor, but anyone carrying around as much anger, bigotry, and hatred as your posts suggest can't be much in touch with reality. Between you and Rush Limbaugh, the world will never lack for energy fueled by anger. Take a pill, pal - it's Christmas.

LOL. Walker can't handle 'truth.' Just watch how liberals 'act' when confronted with truth. Just one more 'proven' result. Attack the messenger if they tell the truth. How typical of you Walker.

You might want to read your own comment Walker. Appears YOU are not medicated enough. Ranting crazily? Just because someone 'told the truth?' LOL. You sound a little 'distrubed' at that truth. Hmm....Accept it; the TRUTH will set you free......from all that hostility, lack of compassion for others, and your obvious lack of 'tolerance' for truth and others' opinions.

Liberalism/Socialism: Equal misery for all.

Dear PM and TS: You seem convinced that patriotism is somehow a by-product of *****ure ignorance. The reason I find your rants more amusing than frustrating is that your concerns are rooted in fantasy. If, for instance, you were concerned about the govt. infringing upon your personal liberties, then where were you when Bush conjured up the "Patriot Act" which ushered in the most severe encroachment upon our personal liberties in our nation's history? If personal liberty means so much to you, how can you stomach the Citizen's United ruling, cooked up and served by the Koch brothers and endorsed by Teabaggers everywhere? If liberty and patriotism meant anything to you at all, you would be in the streets over these two issues. Unlike your rants against Obama, birtherism, and made-up socialism fears, these issues have genuinely made you even less influential and less free. Honestly, I think you have one dull-minded, racist sermon, which you seem to enjoy preaching daily.

BTW, regarding executive orders, President Obama holds the current record for the FEWEST executive orders of any president in the last 100 years. Moan and groan if you wish, TS and PM, but those are the facts. Bush had more, and so did Reagan. And by the way, do you think if Congress weren't so completely and hopelessly dysfunctional that he would be forced to resort to executive orders for petty things that would ordinarily be simply routine. President Obama has signed a grand total of 139 executive orders (not 900+ as reported by the Fox's fantasy news team) - and most are rather tame (establishing a council to oversee the safety of federal employees, for instance - not taking over the railroads and waterways) - much of what you are hearing on AFR and Limbaugh is patently false information. Insofar as you refuse to check your sources, you are really just blowing smoke. President Obama has not breeched the constitution or taken away anyone's rights. Nonsense.

You can't help the unthinking sheep Pure. They 'want' so badly to believe that the dictator is doing a good job and that socialism might work for the first time in history. They can't fathom the thought they may actually have to be 'responsible' for themselves and their own bad decisions in life that the "thought" that they'd have to WORK and earn their own way in life paralyzes them with fear!!! They still believe in the tooth fairy.

It's easy not to worry when you really don't care what happens to millions of Americans. In fact America has the lowest workforce participation rate since Carter, but the U-3 unemployment numbers don't show it because they are fudged. Those who oppose Obama do so because they recognize Obama's threat to all we hold dear; Turner is supremely unconcerned about socialism in the way of a man who imagines he will be untouched by its mindless savagery. Liberal 'affordable housing' policies led to the 'subprime' economic disaster of 2008-present. It was a signal irony that Obama was able to use the collapse caused by his party and its policies to stampede ignorant voters into putting a radical agitator in power. The Federal Register predicted 85 million Americans would lose their insurance in 2010. Obama got 4 Pinocchios from WaPo for that set of lies; he deserves another 4 for the 'keep your Doctor' lies. Why should he worry? Obama will have healthcare for life.
