Studies show that marijuana smoke does not harm the lungs like cigarette smoke does do some research. Because even if someone told you the truth you still wouldn't believe it

Major you sure have a bunch of time to post. Maybe a career should be in order for you. Instead of staying in the house 22 hours a day.

Children can't legally purchase alchohol or tobacco for the same reason they can't purchase legally in Colorado or Washington I'm not saying everyone should smoke pot but you should not lock someone up and throw away the key for a plant which has less of an effect on judgement than alchohol bottom line is the punishment is worse than the crime lock soneone up for smoking a joint and then they lose their job and their house so which is worse smoking a joint or losing every thing that you have because of some antiquated laws which say that marijuana is a class 1 controlled substance which is worse than cocaine

I'm still waiting on all or any liberals to explain WHY they spent years trying to STOP everyone from smoking plain cigarettes and now claim smoking pot is okay?

Please explain the insanity liberals. Go ahead; try!

Strange how you avoided the total alchohol related deaths, or the prescription medicine overdoses but were quick to change the subject and point out the gun related deaths wich by the way still add up to be roughly 30,000

This is not about guns or gay marriage. My question to you was " why is it that alchohol is legal to purchase and consume and marijuana is not"? Just one good reason. Stick to the topic

Annual deaths related to firearms in the United States: 29,000. Annual deaths related to prescription drugs: 32,000. Annual deaths related to alcohol: 85,000. Related to tobacco: 435,000. Marijuana? 0. Not a single case of death ever recorded in the United States, or even the world has been attributed to the use of marijuana. But there must be a reason for it’s prohibition and criminalization, correct?

There are approximately 88,000 deaths attributable to excessive alcohol use each year in the United States.1 This makes excessive alcohol use the 3r d leading lifestyle-related cause of death for the nation.2 Excessive alcohol use is responsible for 2.5 million years of potential life lost (YPLL) annually, or an average of about 30 years of potential life lost for each death.1 In 2006, there were more than 1.2 million emergency room visits and 2.7 million physician office visits due to excessive drinking.3 The economic costs of excessive alcohol consumption in 2006 were estimated at $223.5 billion.3

Give me one good reason why alcohol is legal but marijuana is not. Seriously just one good reason. Tell me just one good reason that alcohol is legal to purchase and drink in a bar or in your own private home or in your buddies house watching football or whatever. Why is that ? Huh I guess that's the conservatives right? Makes no sense

What a waste of time and money, just legalize it already. It's already legal in two states with more voting on it this year. I could see if it was meth or pills or crack or something. And those who say it leads to harder drugs BS no proof, if anything alcohol leads to harder stuff, and unwanted pregnancies. I know police officers, doctors, and successfull bussinessmen who either use or have used marijuna.

Lock him/them up; throw away key. This person should have been arrested long ago as most folks already knew about this years ago. Don't know why it takes law officials longer to find out.
