Nellie's so ignorant that she thinks people don't have 'cultures.' Uh, where were you educated....or were you?

Ignorance on display again. LOLOL. Would have been a better choice had you NOT said anything at all. At least then, someone MIGHT have thought you intelligent.

Nells:"President Bush’s Medicare prescription drug plan — which helped to double the debt"

Well, if Nells had a problem with that one...why doesn't she have a problem with Obamacare TRIPLING that???

Oh we know; that democrat Double-Standard thingy again.

If it's not okay for a republican president then you can't say it's okay when a democrat prez does it. Or actually you do and will but it just proves the double standard you liberals have and show consistently over and over again about everything.

Just like all the liberal screaming over gas prices under Bush admin. and it was only $1.89 at that point!

Under Obama administration, gas prices kept over $3 a gallon and has seen over $4 a gallon the entire time....the silence of the left is deafening! Double standard! Hypocrites! bible speaks of hypocrites too Nells.

Nells I see still doesn't 'get' debt, economy and finances. I guess liberals living off taxpayers would cause ignorance of those subjects. Not caring because it's handed to you monthly would make one somewhat ignorant about economic issues.

His budget for 2014 includes about $223 billion for interest on the debt and about $1.7 trillion in tax revenue. Thus, there's plenty of income to service our debt, and a default would occur only if the president orders it.

But Obama is like a child; he just wants to spend all the 'bill money' on his hundreds of vacations and going to play basketball and having fun, fun fun. Liberals don't like working. So, yeah, there's money to handle our payments on the interst/debt; but we're talking about a president with the mind of a child here! Don't expect any adult decisions. We haven't seen any signs of maturity yet in him.

Right you are, Joe...

ThinkProgress 7/26/11 - excerpt: "... the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, the Bush tax cuts, and President Bush’s Medicare prescription drug plan — which helped to double the debt over the past decade: Together, a Bloomberg News analysis shows, these initiatives added $3.4 trillion to the nation’s accumulated debt and to its current annual budget deficit of $1.5 trillion. snip

The analysis shows the wars have cost $1.3 trillion since 9/11, the Bush tax cuts cost $1.7 trillion in lost revenue over a decade, and Medicare Part D costs $369 billion over a decade.

So, Maj...you still don't understand the debt ceiling.

I think there is also a fundamental difference of opinion as to what constitutes "entitlement." PM thinks that anything he believes in is an "investment" and anything he doesn't morally support is an entitlement.

The fundamental distinction that seems to be absent from this discussion is that raising the debt ceiling is not a credit approval for new spending, but rather for spending that Congress has already approved.

Yes, Maj, plagiarize. I've pointed this out to TruthSeeker before.

No one appears to be appreciating your comments quite as much as you do, Maj. I have yet to see anyone appropriate any of your words or phrases...

My comments, on the other hand, always provide lesser minds with an opportunity to expand their vocabulary if not their ability to think.

TruthSeeker, it really is flattering that you so admire my writing style that you continue to plagiarize; however, as I suggested in another comment, you need to actually understand the words and phrases that I use before you can try to integrate them into your own comments.

That being said, your last comment doesn't deserve a reply and this is as far as I'll go in dignifying it.

Nellie's funny when she attacks Maj...stating 'I know that you want to find your very own niche in that great big cesspool of right wing Griftopia where you can get just a little for yourself. Look at who your heroes are...O'Keefe, Palin, Gingrich.

So, when can we expect to read about your very own website with that perky "Donate" button at the top of the Home Page?'

FYI: So Maj or any conservative shouldn't be trying to 'better themselves by hard work?' You obviously are jealous of successful people. What has Palin done to you personally other than **** off liberals & they TOLD you to hate them?!?

I find that comment hilarious when it's the lazy nonworking, entitlement-demanding left that is 'looking for their 'niche' in the "govt handouts" line!

Nellie you really should sit down and listen to yourself. Then you'd know and understand why we laugh at you. You make absolutely no sense at all. You want exactly what you 'accuse' Palin, and others of already

Maj: "...and I love WV and want to keep it for our culture and yours believe it or not."

"Our culture"?

What culture would that be, Maj?

Maj, I realize that you're just trying out your material here on the IM comments board waiting for the day you'll be "discovered".

I know that you want to find your very own niche in that great big cesspool of right wing Griftopia where you can get just a little for yourself. Look at who your heroes are...O'Keefe, Palin, Gingrich.

So, when can we expect to read about your very own website with that perky "Donate" button at the top of the Home Page? Don't be shy, Maj. You're just testing the waters here...I understand that. Let me keep pitching those curve balls to you, Maj. Swings and misses with a Liberal don't count when you're working the conservogullibles.

OK, Maj, I'll keep it simple.

Which of the current crop of republican conservatives do YOU believe will be the republican nominee who will beat the Democratic candidate?

So, Maj, your theory that a hard right conservative could beat a Dem just won't hold up to historical precedent, right?

nb: "...Goldwater is often called "Mr. Conservative" and he lost the 1964 election to LBJ...and he lost in one of the biggest landslides in history.

If "Mr. Conservative" could not win a Presidential election, Maj, how do you imagine one of your Clown Car Candidates could win?"

You don't even know who Barry Goldwater was, do you, Maj. Quick, Google is your Friend.

Maj believes that Liberals and Democrats have been influencing republican primary voters, TS. Liberals and Dems are so much more informed and intelligent than republican voters, but I would like to know how, exactly, Liberals control the outcome of so many republican primaries.

Of course you are struggling with this issue, TS, because you are clueless about how candidates are chosen to run in general elections. I'm amazed that you even know which party Capito belongs to. You obviously do not know what elected office she holds now.

Why not let Maj address the issue of the perfect conservative presidential candidate losing in a landslide.

Oh, TS, there are more words in this thread that you don't know the meaning of. Feel free to guess, as usual. Your comments are always so amusing.

Perhaps Nellie and democrats should be worrying a bit more about themselves. It's their party that is losing support. And it's their party members leaving in droves. Two such dems have left and went over to the republican party in Clarksburg already. Ha.

It's okay Nellie; just keep believing your liberal socialist party is doing just fine; you'll be all the more shocked when you see the election results next time. Have extra anti-depressants on hand. Just trying to help.

Maj, you continue to believe that Dems/Liberals are controlling republican primary voters.

Maj: "... When your political enemy is giving advice on who you should nominate, watch out. They are just picking who they know they can win against. Just like with McCain, Romney, and Dole..."

Well, those tricky Liberals didn't control the republican primary when Barry Goldwater won the nomination. Goldwater is often called "Mr. Conservative" and he lost the 1964 election to LBJ...and he lost in one of the biggest landslides in history.

If "Mr. Conservative" could not win a Presidential election, Maj, how do you imagine one of your Clown Car Candidates could win?

Liberals live in their own little world...it only exists in their dreams. Reality doesn't register to liberals. Reality is too hard for them to deal with; therefore they DREAM. (Obama's Dreams of my father); MLK's I had a DREAM. Getting the point? ALL they do is DREAM. I suggest maybe they start WORKING.
