We don't "have to" talk about anything. Just like we all have the right to free speech, we also have the right to remain silent.

TopGun; as God says, some do not have eyes to see and ears to hear. Maybe when the elect are teaching in the millenium those who have been deceived by false teachers will see and hear the truth and accept it. After all, during that time satan is bound and there's none of satans' wicked influence. Being in the spiritual body at that time, we will 'know the real Christ.' Sadly, Bible says some will still follow satan when he's released to test them as we are tested on earth today. Don't believe that? Just state you're a christian and see. Everyone must be tested as fence-straddlers and unfaithful that follow satan are forever destroyed and we won't remember them ever having existed in heaven. Everyone has a choice to make. Whichever; enjoy your trip. There's no rapture out of here. That is satans little lie that's spread like wildfire since the inception of it in 1832 by a very ill woman that even stated 'it felt evil' when she went into her illness that would last days.

Those christians who claim the earth is only 6000 years old are sadly, ignorant of Genesis. Get a Strong's Concordance (mainly an earlier version from 80's or before) because the anti-christians have been 'making their little changes' to everything. Take it back to the 'original manuscript' meanings. You must remember English words don't have same meanings as earlier Aramaic, Hebrew, Greek. Hebrew doesnt even have a 'j' in their alphabet. Earth was void....manuscripts say 'became' void; not 'was.' BIG difference! It became void due to satan and a third of God's children turning aside from God; instead of killing all His children; he created us in flesh bodies to come here to His creation on Earth to make up our minds 'once and for all' who we will serve. All evil will be wiped out at His return at 7th Trump (satan returns pretending to be real CHrist at 6th trump). Which will you believe? Studying God's Word instead of listening to men who give their own interpretations is sad.

It's kind of a usless venture to memorialize MLK and then ignore the principles some say he stood for. As I said before, there are a lot of black people who would have been a much better choice than King. Maybe this was one of those spurr of the moment choices that are usually not very well though out, but then again, we praise Alexander Hamilton even though he did everything in his power to undermine the founding fathers and the constitution. Aaron Burr did us a great service when he caused Hamilton's death after shooting him in a duel. I find it ironic that Hamilton's son Philip was killed in a November 23, 1801 duel with George Eacker. Just goes to show you how misguided we can be when choosing a hero of sorts.

Maj, he does live outside our idea of time. And the bible does cover the dinosaurs, but we will leave it at that since I don't think you have an understanding of biblical numerics or what the term Behemoth means. I know some say it's a hippo and an aligator, but that is not accurate. I've seen the new translations and they were clearly translated by the Kenites, not a biblical scholar. But, I'll leave it at that and get back to Martin.

Maj, study the "Catabo" in the Bible. It is mentioned in Genesis, the war between God and Satan in the 1st earth age. Job 40 covers the Dinosaurs, or Behemoth. Some of their fossils date back billions of years. You have to remember that a day in Gods time is a thousand years in ours.

You can't stop people from using drugs or alcohol by locking "other" people up you might stop that person from using, but not their buddies. We can't afford ( as as a society ) to just keep locking people up for doing drugs that only harm themselves I know it harms their families to if they have any that cares about them. It costs money to keep them locked up. The worst part about it is the children that are affected.

Major, carbon dating has shown that the earth is billions of years old, not 6000 years. The Dinosaurs predate the 6000 year theory. Maybe fool was a bit strong. Maybe uninformed would have been better. Actually, most scientist will tell you that the earth is much older than 6000 years, and even though they will not try to put an exact time on it, they will agree that billions of years is an accurate theory. The Bible even states that it is billions of years old. We have no way to accurately determine how many years the Dinosaurs were around before they went extinct, but I can imagine they were here several million, or even billions of years before man.

Dave, I don't know who's been saying that the earth is only 6000 years old, but it's no one in here. Only a fool would think that, and actually, the Bible and science are on the same page about it being billions of years old. The part real christians don't buy is the part about cave men and evolution.

If man evolved from an ape, there would still be examples in every stage of evolution walking around, since it is an ongoing process. I've been around a lot of years, and I haveyet to see a half man, half ape walking the streets. There are no exmples to support evolution, but the proof of creation is everywhere. And by the way, the give a man a fish thing is from the Bible, not a Chinese proverb.

So what do you recommend we do about it? You can't stop people from using drugs or alchohol by locking other users or alcoholics up. It starts with the enviroment in which they are brought up some parents don't know how to be parents. And for you you comment on me reminiscing to the days of yesteryear, isn't that what republicans want? Family values it yesteryear?

turning their life around. I will not be held 'accountable' on judgment day for 'supporting' through 'cash' donations, addicts. That would make me a 'contributor' to their demise. People confuse compassion. Sometimes real compassion and love is allowing them to hit rock bottom so they can get enough to force them to 'want' help; real help that turns them around and not help them to their permanent demise. "Tough love" is painful but necessary sometimes!

2Cents:Heard of give a man a fish he eats for a day ? I posted it a week ago about the colossal cabbage article. you should check it out some time. Actually I don't think that is from the bible I believe it was a Chinese philosopher

I wasn't stating that quote was from the Bible. I just was telling everyone that God doesn't want us being 'enablers' to people. Say, for example, you have a relative on drugs...if you give him/her money you are 'enabling' that person to continue in his/her drug problem as you know they're going to spend it on drugs and not their bills, their kids food, etc... Just saying, a lot of folks 'enable' these people. You can still help them, but until they want to help themselves and seek help for their problem, you become an enabler to their problem thus NOT helping at all. Some folks have to hit rock bottom before wanting any help for themselves. But as long as bleeding heart liberals keep 'coddling' these types of folks...they have NO intentions of...

2cents, if you read the bible, you will find that it tells us not be an enabler, which means funneling money to lazy people who will not work. Every hear of give a man a fish and he eats for a day, teach him to fish and he eats for life? God never meant for us to keep lazy people who refuse to work. A lot of poor people keep themselves poor by living off the system rather than going out and finding a job.

Sadly, the DHHR helps them by explaining how to get around new regulations, or how to collect more money by acting stupid. They test them to see what skills they have and they have been told how to answer so they appear incompetent so they can collect more money. I know it happens because some of them near where I live bragged about being told how to do it, and they in turn told their friends ane relatives. Let them go hungry for a while, they'll get out and find a job. Hunger is a great incentive to go to work.

THIS black man would have been a better choice for the left to stand in 'awe' of:

Here: What's worse than teaching someone that doesn't know anything? Trying to teach someone who thinks they know everything.

Whoa...did you figure that out all by yourself?

We know! We keep trying to 'educate' people on here but all they do is attack us personally and get irate because we have differing religious, political and moral ethics.

Now on that note...here's another learning experience. Take it or leave it. Your choice. Libs like 'choice' right? Careful now...

When you exercise your freedom to express yourself at the lowest level, you ultimately condemn yourself to live at that level. What comes out of your mouth is determined by what goes into your mind. Some people find fault like there's a reward for it.

Trthseker says: No wonder the left is so angry all the time about nearly everything; negativity is all they have and the world is tired of hearing them whine and cry. I hear nothing from them about fixing problems that they keep creating" Well like I said before if that was the case than rush Limbaugh would not have a three hour show.

So it's time for the "job creators" to do their part and create some jobs. It's time to " take one for the team" Right?

Trthseker says: No wonder the left is so angry all the time about nearly everything; negativity is all they have and the world is tired of hearing them whine and cry. I hear nothing from them about fixing problems that they keep creating. It's estimated that 3.5 percent of the US population is gay and they want to change everything. They're not just coming out of the closet these days. It seems as though they are trying to get everyone else in the closet. So if they not anywhere close to a majority than lawmakers should not change the laws to cater to them. On the same token. Millionaires and billionaires have been estimated to be about 1 percent. Right? We've all heard about the 99 percent. So why would the republicans or democrats for that matter see fit to cater to the wealthy and create loopholes, or provide subsidies to the richest one percent. I keep hearing that the wealthy are the job creators. I agree with that 100 percent. I never got hired by a poor person.

That's one of the problems with republicans they think they know everything, but don't want to reaveal there " "secrets" if that's the case, that democrats could steal your ideas than that means that democrats ideas would not be that different . from republicans. Right? Something as simple as education ( which i believe was one of the questions you are referring to) if you can't contribute new ideas than whats the point of arguing? If you have such great ideas than maybe you should run for office. And on the issue of campaign donations. I would most likely be in favor of that to avoid large contributions from "Pacs" or lobbyists. That's not a bad thing. Money has no place in politics. That's a conflict of interest. And for you to think that the previous administrations policy's have no effect on the current administration than you better think again. I already proved that theory wrong ie the Tomblin pay raise controversy. Any more questions?

Agree with you Maj. 2cents and others in here only ask us questions they don't know answers and think we'll be stupid enough to help the lefties out. They're losing elections and support. Pelosi is attempting to 'force' taxpayers to contribute to campaining because they're support is dwindling significantly because of Obama and his anti-gun; anti-constitution, anti-work, anti-insurance, anti-business, ANTI-EVERYTHING!

No wonder the left is so angry all the time about nearly everything; negativity is all they have and the world is tired of hearing them whine and cry. I hear nothing from them about fixing problems that they keep creating. Everytime Obama says he's going to 'help' with a certain group; he makes it worse. Then when asked why unemployment must keep getting extended....he liberally continues blaming other people, networks, reporters, whites, conservatives, tea party, Bush, previous administration, rich people (as he 'pretends' he's not one of them!).lol.
