I think major was on to something. I have to say this does not look good for the African-Americans attending ABU, but I guess we already knew that. I'm just sayin.

2cents: I am assuming Major has been removed due to something he said about the students that caused the ruckus at WVWC. Know Major's post, I am willing to bet is was nothing more than pointing out the obvious, which seems to rub liberals the wrong way. This paper is always hammering home the idea of freedom of the press, but when one of their posters makes an observation regarding skin color, even though there's a pattern evolving, or just plain facts regarding race, they are the first to suppress the observations of their readers. Head hunting has become a favorite pass time for this paper. It is obvious they are not interested in freedom of expression, or a person's right to say what they believe, which proves their idea of freedom of speech is something they twist to meet their own political aspirations. The press is always tripping over their politically correctness, which includes their willingness to step on the rights of others to pander to one group of people. How pathetic.

2cents, and by the way, you have the right to say it, but that right is most likely precluded in this publication. It makes it hard to get the facts out when you have to spend your time dodging the traps and snares set by the media to suppress your point of view. Who knows who will be next since they have been head spending their time banning those who do not agree with them or have opinions contrary to theirs.

My God... this is 2014... NOT the 1900's. Who cares what race they are? I mean, read the news once in awhile... This is WV and obviously mostly everyone is white... therefore the ones getting arrested for drugs, DUI, DUI causing DEATH, etc., are white! Most of the African American's at ABU are actually very polite and well-mannered.

We know what year it is. Act like a common street thug, and that's how you'll be labeled. They brought all this attention on themselves.

Since we're on the subject, I actually heard that Vanilla Ice song on the radio the other day. I guess he's making a comeback or something. But Student14 is right, we should all be nice to eachother. It's just so hard sometimes though. (Sigh)

While we are on the subject of civility, has anyone thought about how civil the students who came to WVWC starting trouble? Here we are again defending them simply because they're black. Who's defending the Christians, or whites, Asians and other citizens who are attacked by blacks for no reason. Should we ignore the facts from the DOJ, CDC and other government agencies, showing proof that the U.S. crime rate would be equal to, or lower than England's or the Neatherland's, were it not for black crime in this country. Anyone who dares to mention these statistics are labled racist, simply for stating facts. Who's really at fault, those who repress the facts, or those who are brave enough to state them.

Student: Your right, this is 2014, but that doesn't matter. Regardless of what century it is, acting civil is extremely important in any society. You don't go around busting heads because you weren't invited to a frat party, and you certainly don't make a trip from Buckhannon to Philippi and back to gather up a few of your troublemaking friends to start an altercation over a party you weren't invited to attend. It makes me wonder about these individual's inasmuch as if they have a previous criminal record. My assumption is that they do, because incidents like this are rarely started by people who don't have a history of violent behavior.

Since AB and WVWC has a history of taking misfits who were either booted out or flunked out, I wouldn't be a bit surprised to find a similar past at another college, or even while at home. This is a clear exhibition of gang mentality, and some individuals with a chip on their shoulders, mixed with racial undertones. We will see.

Liberal censorship. Liberals don't live in 'reality.' It's reality that they have a hard time dealing with.

The left can't get out of their '60's mind-numbing euphoria of an ideal utopia that has never existed except in the minds of pot smoking hippies.

Reality? What is reality? It all depends who you ask, or where they live. Maybe it's the conservatives that cant accept reality. Reality is that this is an ever changing world in which we live in.

2cents:Actually, conservatives don't have a problem with reality because they know that the illusion of reality presented by liberals is just that, an illusion. Liberals are masters at twisting, and distorting everything, including your preception of how things are. Can you really believe what you're being presented by the left when it is steeped in lies and deceptions?

Take the stock market for example. Obama wants us to think everything is all hunkydory even though he knows it's an artifical market being proped up by his administration through infusions of cash from Uncle Sam. Smart people know it's all going to come crashing down around our ears around the middle of June. Now, who are you going to put your money on. A reality based in deceptions or facts?

I find it difficult to judge a person based on their political affiliation. In fact I rarely meet someone in public and wonder if they are rebuplican or democrat. Our two party system has divided the country. The democrats stand for gays and the poor, and the enviroment. While the republicans stand for lower taxes for fatcats, and guns in schools and stuff like that. That's how the media has portrayed the two party's, wich has made the divide even worse. The democrat party has changed because more people are realizing that they are poor. And more gays are " coming out of the closet" but are all gays democrats? I don't know I'm asking. Are all poor people (the 99 %) democrats? Surely they can't all be. My point is you can't just call someone a liberal or republican. Just because they disagree with you on one or two of the issues.

Never take their word for it. Check the congressional records and see who actually pushed most legislation through congress that gave blacks the right to vote, and gave them protection under the law concerning their civil rights. It sure as heck wasn't the Democrats, but rather the Republicans.

Never forget that Democrats are masterful liars and masters at diverting blame and taking credit for something they never did. It's all in the congressional records. Look it up and see for yourself.

I'll never understand why the left hates wealthy people. They are the one who create jobs. How many jobs has the low income people created other than for the DHHR? So what if a person made millions honestly? It's their money, but the Democrats are all for stealing off the wealthy to subsidize a group of people who won't work. Maybe it's because most of the left is on the take. Democrats don't care for the poor, but they like to create the illusion they do. They have been using poor blacks for generations, giving them this and that, but it's only to muster support for the party. However, with the Hispanic population growing, they are kicking the blacks to the curb in order to pander to the Hispanics. The sooner we realize that the liberals don't care about anything or anyone, the sooner we can get down to brass tacks concerning the country. If you take a look back through history, you would know that the Democrats consistently voted against civil rights for blacks.

TopGun: "If you take a look back through history, you would know that the Democrats consistently voted against civil rights for blacks."

That's true. It's been a bumpy road for sure. If you look even further back into history you find the majority of Democrats lived in the Old South and literally tried to fight against the new Radical Republican party of the North who were trying to end that troublesome commerce. Weird how much has evolved since then a? Heresmy2cents is right when he says "Reality is that this is an ever changing world in which we live in."

Jester, scant few know the facts about who voted for what, and the Democrats count on you not knowing it. Sadly, many people today take their word for it and never check out what they're being told. Back in the day, Democrats and Republicans had their differences, but when it came to national security, the deficit, spending and other important issues, both parties were on the same page. Today, the Democratic party has swung so far left it's barely recognizable.

They're not remotely interested in national security, the economy or any of the issues that are important. All they want to do is pit the rich against the poor, and one race against another. The more turmoil they can create, the better they like it. It's the party of division.
