Independantview has me mixed up with someone else. I tend to agree with you that they are all the same, saying the same things to get elected. I may be wasting my vote in November, but after speaking with Phil Hudok of the Constitution Party, I told him I liked what he was saying. 2nd amendment rights are more important than out of work coal miners. Everybody's out of work.

conservativedad And I would employ the same methodology as you, only in reverse: if you support or plan to vote for a particular candidate then, that's a "ringing endorsement" for me NOT to vote for them. And, I'm not desparate as you imply. Although I hold out hope for America to change course and right the ship of state, I am not optomistic, so, whichever candidate wins Tennant or Capito, nothing will change. Entrenched Congressmen that have been in Congress for decades and faceless appointed bureaucrats are the real puppetmasters behind the scenes and truly run the country.

Always going after the left wing, Indy. Attack tactics don't flatter, but desperate people take desperate measures. Thanks for picking up the garbage tab for us. That was kind and thanks for making up my mind about this race. If you dislike Natalie, she must be the most qualified and not in Wall Street's pocket.

conservativedad yep, your the same dude that posted the comment that it was perfectly acceptable for non-residents of Elkins and Randolph County to pick up the tab of millions of dollars for the Elkins/Randolph landfill, passed in the 11th hour of the legislative session! Your justification---it would keep your gargae rates lower! And you have the audacity to critize Republicans and Conservatives?? You are no different that the Left-Wing Dems, always looking for a handout or someone else to pick up the tab. Soon, the gravy train will derail because it's now official--more U.S.Citizens are not paying taxes vs those are paying taxes. Then, who will you pass the buck to?

It's no wonder the Democrats win the most important offices. Every comment is extreme and alienates the moderates who are undecided. I'm very undecided on this race and want to hear more from the two front runners. The debates will help everyone make their choice. Name calling never helps anyone's cause.

WHY wont' she go campaign down in the southern coalfields? LOL!

Like Manchin she too will agree with Obama on shutting down all coal companies and destroying cheap electricity for all and jobs for WV.

WV voters are NOT as stupid as these democrats WISH we were!

Here are six Conundrums of socialism in the United States of America:

1. America is capitalist and greedy - yet half of the population is subsidized.

2. Half of the population is subsidized - yet they think they are victims.

3. They think they are victims - yet their representatives run the government.

4. Their representatives run the government - yet the poor keep getting poorer.

5. The poor keep getting poorer - yet they have things that people in other countries only dream about.

6. They have things that people in other countries only dream about - yet they want America to be more like those other countries.

Think about it! Socialist Democrats are dangerous to a FREE NATION OF PEOPLE!

WV cannot take anymore progressive liberals that are intent on putting ALL WV citizens on the welfare dole as they think like Obama, that we should NOT be using coal and we should pay 'quadruple' utility rates and should be FORCED into 'purchasing a consumer product that THEY want us to purchase.' You think health insurance is where they'll stop at? It all started years ago with only Vehicle insurance; now democrats force health insurance; now they've quietly forced new homeowners to purchase flood insurance (whether you are in a flood zone or not); they don't care. Be INTERESTING to know how many DEMOCRATS own INSURANCE COMPANIES!!!!

I already saw the polls. Tennant is LOSING big time against Capito! She's already LOST!

No one in WV is voting for ANYONE who supported Obama's War on Coal and Obamacare. And Natalie Tennant is just a carbon copy of double-speaking Manchin. WHy do you think Manchin chose her for SOS???? Carbon copy!!!

I forgot to add the other major accomplishment of Ms. tennant as Secretary of State. She registered a Texas Prison Inmate on the WV Ballot to run for the U.S. Senate! How could one forget such a significant accomplishment?????

Here is Ms. Tennant's Resume' 1) Wore Buckskins as the WVU Mascot 2) TV news reader at Charleston & Clarksburg 3) Sect'y of State that missed a critical election milestone task which cost the taxpayers of WV hundreds of thousands of dollars 4)THAT'S IT FOLKS! And she is somehow quailfied to be a U.S. Senator? Just an empty pant suit that is using the office of SOS as her campaign headquarters. Do the one job you have been (unfortunately) elected to do instead of traveling around the state campaigning. But like her predessors, she is using the office of SOS as a campaign headquarters; i.e. Rockefeller & Manchin. It's obviously, being used as a campaign headquarters and it's past time to eliminate the office of SOS and transfer those few duties to an existing state administrative office.

Seeing her at the senior center yesterday was a real surprise. I hope the Intermountain gives the readers a bit more advanced notice when candidates come to town. I'd like to hear what all of them have to say. Great photos of Delaney and Watchdog Bill with Natalie.
