Nines in America Meet at Montrose Community Park

December 7, 2007
Eighty-six family members registered for the Nines in America reunion at the Montrose Community Park on July 28. Carl and Dorothy Nine hosted the event and Rebekah Pleasant Grove 98 group served the meal.

A memorial service to honor deceased family members John Head and Virginia Crawford was presented by Lola Mowrey.

Ruby Nine donated three packets of West Virginia information, which were given to those traveling the most miles to attend the reunion. Winners were Martin and Becky Conklin of Adrian, Mich., Larry and Elfriede Nine of Bowling Green, Ky., and Gene Nines from Hatsboro, Pa.

Bill Taylor won the 50/50 drawing. Family auctioneer Mike Hartsell, with helpers Ron Taylor and Terry Nine, auctioned the donated items.
