Stocker - Anderson Married

    Heather Michelle Anderson and Timothy William Stocker were married in a private ceremony on the shores of Riviera Maya, Mexico, on Nov. 2, 2007.

    The bride is the daughter of Larry and Mary Anderson of Buckhannon. She is the granddaughter of Virgil and Jean Anderson of Buckhannon and Wayne and Eva George of Buckhannon.

    The bridegroom is the son of Thomas Stocker of Malabar, Fla., and Judy Larson of Piscataway, N.J.

    The bride wore an ivory strapless satin gown featuring a cascading side drape with a flower at the waist and a sweep train. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of calla lilies and roses.

    A reception for family and friends was hosted at Cindy’s Reception Hall in Weston upon the couple’s return home. Catering was also provided by Cindy’s. A four-tier wedding cake was made by Bonita Logsdon.

    The bride is a 1998 graduate of Eastern Alamance High School in Mebane, N.C. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2002 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing. She is     employed by Corhart Refractories.

     The bridegroom is a 1988 graduate of Piscataway High School in Piscataway, N.J., and is also a U.S. Navy veteran. He is employed by Weyerhaeuser.

The couple resides in Buckhannon.
