Roberta Jo Harman and Daniel Edward Brown were married during a candlelight evening ceremony on Dec. 8 at the Church of the Nazarene. Pastor Terry Burgess performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Joe and Virginia Harman of Elkins.
The bridegroom is the son of Gary Brown and Kathy Kinderknecht of Lakeview, Mich.
The bride wore a white Alfred Angelo strapless satin, A-line floor-length gorn with chiffon overlay embellished with sequins and beads. She also wore a chiffon, marabou fur-trimmed wrap with a crystal and rhinestone headpiece.
The bride's bouquet consisted of a nosegay arrangement with white roses, stargazer lilies, blue delphinium and blue crystal stems accented with white satin ribbon.
The bridal party included Ginny Simmons, the bride's best friend, who served as matron of honor and wore a strapless cornflower blue beaded gown.
The best man was Danny Linger, the bridegroom's best friend.
Anna Simmons served as flower girl and Tyler Hamrick, nephew of the bride, served as ring bearer.
The church was decorated in a winter theme featuring snowflakes, fresh pine branches and ornaments in shades of ice blue.
A dinner reception immediately followed the ceremony. The tables were decorated with candles ringed with fresh pine and blue and silver ornaments.
The four-tier white wedding cake, baked by Suzanne Carter, was decorated with blue snowflakes, blue delphinium and white roses and featured a snowflake topper.
The couple honeymooned for a week at their cabin in Cassity. They now reside in Elkins.
