A Mill Creek man is lodged in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail after attempting to rob a convenience store in Valley Bend on Sunday night.

Michael Joshua Taylor was apprehended at his home without incident by the Randolph County Sheriff's Department at approximately 12:07 a.m. Monday.

The Randolph County Sheriff's Department responded to an armed robbery call at the Country Store in Valley Bend at 8:11 p.m. Sunday.

Witnesses and the store clerk said Taylor entered the establishment wielding a knife and demanding money from the cash register. After the cashier refused to comply, Taylor attempted to open the register to no avail. Taylor eventually fled the scene after more customers entered the store.

Oh another thing, if you think things are desperate now, wait until the democrats get into office. Those who have nothing will be living high on the welfare list. Those who have something will be taxed out of existence.. crime flourishes in hard times..

Hee,hee,,hee.. I didn't know that everyone is sticking there nose in everyone else's business?? Heck, 1/2 of the place is on Workers Compensation so they have plenty of time to do it.. Must be nice to rob stores, break into businesses, steal money or materials, hunt and fish year around in a young age plus being paid while you do it.. while the rest of us are working ourselves to death just to make a living. I am afraid to go to sleep at night in Mill Creek and not waking up the next morning and if I do, I am not complete what I had the day before.. These types need to be ridded out of Mill Creek and Tygarts Valley as to make it a safe place to reside.
