Jean and Denzil Walton, formerly of the Rock Cave and French Creek communities, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Nov. 28. They currently reside in Chipley, Fla.
Their children, Darla Riffle and husband, Charlie, of Rock Cave, Debye Walton of Wassau, Fla., and Dennis Walton of Front Royal, Va., are planning to surprise their parents with a party in their honor at the New Vision United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall in Greenhead, Fla., on Nov. 29.
The family is requesting gifts be omitted, but encourages all family and friends to send the couple a card in care of Darla Riffle, P.O. Box 255, Rock Cave, W.Va. 26234 before Nov. 24. Cards may also be sent to Debye Walton, P.O. Box 355, Wassau, Fla. 32463. All cards will be hand delivered on the day of the celebration.

In addition to their children, the couple have two grandchildren, David Riffle and wife, Mimi, of Rock Cave and Christy Riffle of Rock Cave; and two great-grandsons, Landon David Riffle and Holden Douglas Riffle.
