Teresa Marie Withers and Jonathon Compton were united in marriage on Sept. 3 at a private ceremony in Keystone Heights, Fla.

There will be a reception at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Coalton Union Mission Church Fellowship Hall in Coalton to celebrate the union of their marriage. The couple has asked that friends and family come and share the afternoon with them.

The bride is the daughter of Timothy and Denise Nethken of Mabie and the granddaughter of Mary Hammond of Elkins and Jose and Marie Lozada of Jacksonville, Fla.; and the great-granddaughter of Lucille Nethken of Mabie.

The bridegroom is the son of John Benton Compton of Charleston and Thomas and Jeanne Hanna. He is the grandson of Ed and Marietta Stemple of Marlinton.

The bride is a graduate of Elkins High School and is employed with Best Buy as a computer specialist. She plans to study business at Marshall University this January.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Elkins High School and has attended classes at West Virginia University. He is employed at Circuit City. He plans to finish his degree in communications .

The couple had an extended honeymoon on the coast of northeast Florida. They now live in Huntington.
