The Randolph County Board of Education recognized several students Monday as Randolph County Math Field Day winners. Students from fourth through eighth grades participated in the event. Winners include, front row, from left, fourth-graders Jacob Earl and Lauren Nicely, both of Jennings Randolph Elementary School, and Megan Morral of North Elementary School; and fifth-graders Sara Burkey, Jason Lambert and Katelin Cooper, all from Midland Elementary School; back row, sixth-grader Shayla Koerner and seventh-graders Remington Knight and Corey Crumm, all from Elkins Middle School. Winners who were not present Monday include EMS sixth-graders Caleb Riggleman and John McCauley, EMS eighth-graders Tyson Currence, Natalie Green and Tommy Cain, and Tygarts Valley Middle School seventh-grader Elizabeth Pritt.
