Together with their parents, Kristen Gaile Meader and Terry R. Layfield II of Clarksburg announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
The bride-elect is the daughter of John Meader of Elkins and Gaile Fisher of Weston. She is a 1998 graduate of Elkins High School and a 2003 graduate of Fairmont State College with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and psychology. She is employed by the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals as a probation officer.
Her fiance is the son of Terry and Sarah Layfield of Sardis. He is a 2001 graduate of Liberty High School and a 2005 graduate of Fairmont State University with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and sociology. He is employed by the West Virginia Division of Corrections as a parole officer.
