Ray and Vonda Rose Howdershelt Poling will celebrate their 70th anniversary. They were married in Oakland, Md., on July 22, 1939.
They are the parents of four children, Marie Williamson of Parkersburg, David Poling and wife, Charlene, of Belington, Duane Poling and wife, Debbie, of Philippi and Penny Gadd and husband, John, of Beverly. They also have two grandchildren, Kelly White and husband, Robby, of Elkins and Brad Poling and wife, Melissa, of Belington; and two great-grandchildren, Ariel and Aaron White of Elkins.
