Lorren "Hugh" DeMotto and Magdeline Joan Silvester DeMotto will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday.
They were married on Aug. 29, 1959, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Coalton.
Mr. DeMotto is the son of the late Gustava "Sunday" DeMotto and Ethel Raines Smith.

Mrs. DeMotto is the daughter of the late Romeo Silvester and Marie DiBacco Silvester.
The DeMottos are the parents of three children, Anita Barb and husband, Jeff, Hughie DeMotto and Mike DeMotto and wife, Lorrie, and the grandparents of Nick and Adam Barb, Jake, Emily, Mikaela and Brett DeMotto. They also have one great-grandson, Lucus Barb.
They reside at P.O. Box 1, Red Creek, W.Va. 26289.
