A Randolph County grand jury handed up 14 indictments on Wednesday. Felony charges include burglary, threats of terrorists acts, malicious assault and child abuse resulting in serious bodily injury, among others. There were also four sealed indictments.
Darnell McBride, 30, and Brandi Rohr, 24, both of Camaro Drive, Beverly, were named in separate indictments charging them with threats of terrorist acts, conveying false information concerning terrorist acts and committing terrorist hoaxes. According to the indictment, the pair threatened to shoot everyone involved in an abuse and neglect circuit court proceeding which involved their children. Kurt Hall served as a special prosecuting attorney in the case and Senior Status Judge Thomas Steptoe of Charlestown served as a special judge in the case.
William Patrick Stump, 55, of Slatyfork, was named in a three-count indictment charging him with felony counts of burglary and wanton endangerment involving a firearm and a misdemeanor, brandishing a deadly weapon. According to the indictment, Stump broke into and entered a house owned by Robert M. Darling on Dec. 16, 2008, and pointed a gun in Darling's face and threatened to kill him.
Brandy Sue Arbogast, 20, of Monterville, was named in a two-count indictment charging her with malicious assault, a felony, and carrying a deadly weapon without license or other authorization, a misdemeanor. According to the indictment, Arbogast stabbed, cut and wounded Nancy Roberts on her head, arm, thigh and body causing bodily injury intending to maim, disfigure, disable or kill her.
Timothy Ray Shuman, 61, of 237 Diamond St. Elkins, was indicted on charges of failure to register or provide notice of registration changes, a felony. According to the indictment, Shuman was convicted of a sexual offense on Oct. 9, 1990, and required life registration as a sex offender and did not provide a change in information to the West Virginia State Police.
Darren Boggs, of 1530 North Adams St., South Bend, Ind., was charged with one count of obtaining property in return for a worthless check, a felony. According to the indictment, Boggs wrote a $926.44 check to Glotfelty Tire Center while knowing that there were not sufficient funds on deposit.
Lucas Wayne Buchannon, 27, of 865 Dennison Run, Alum Bridge, was named in a two-count indictment charging him with forgery and uttering, a felony. According to the indictment, Buchannon forged a $1,500 check with the signature of Donald Stout payable to Josh Masters.
Rusty Travis Cameron, 20, and Ashley Bonner, 25, both of 55 Vine St., Elkins, were named in separate indictments. Cameron was charged with five felony counts of child abuse resulting in serious bodily injury for allegedly burning three children on the lower back with a lit cigarette. Bonner was charged with two felony counts of child neglect resulting in serious bodily injury for allegedly not seeking medical attention for two of the children after they were burned.
Steven M. Clemens of Elkins and Bobbie Jo McVey of Fairmont were named in two separate indictments charging them with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and delivery of a controlled substance. Clemens is charged with felony counts of possession with the intent to deliver and delivery of a controlled substance. According to the indictment, Clemens possessed and delivered marijuana on Nov. 15, 2008.
McVey was charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver and delivery of a controlled substance. According to the indictment, McVey possessed and intended to deliver Hydrocodone on Nov. 15, 2008.
Charles J. Iamurri, 46, of 400 Abbey Road, Belington, was charged with possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance, transportation of a dangerous substances onto the grounds of a correctional facility, both felonies, possession of a controlled substance, domestic battery and possession by a prohibited person of a firearm, misdemeanors. According to counts one and two of the indictment, on April 25, 2009, Iamurri possessed more than 15 grams of marijuana with the intent to deliver and morphine that was not obtained by a prescription.
According to count three of the indictment, on the same date Iamurri allegedly choked and caused bruising to the throat of Peggy Rankins. According to count four of the indictment, Iamurri transported approximately 20 grams of marijuana to the Tygart Valley Regional Jail. According to count five of the indictment, Iamurri possessed a shotgun and was prohibited to do so because of a felony burglary convection on Feb. 17, 1987, in Coatsville, Pa.
Joe Loudin of Buckhannon was named in a one-count indictment charging him with obtaining property in return for a worthless check, a felony. According to the indictment, Loudin issued a $12,852.17 check to Elkins Fordland drawn on Loudin Construction's account while knowing there were not sufficient funds in the account.
Kevin C. Parks, 25, of 17 Heavener Acres, Elkins, was charged with burglary, a felony, and petit larceny, a misdemeanor. According to the indictment, on June 15, Parks broke into the home of Leslie Kittle and Ryan Sherman and took $300.
Arraignments are scheduled for Nov. 10.
