In honor of the 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Waugh of Clarksburg, their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren will host an open house from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Nov. 7 at the Harrison County Senior Citizens Center located at 500 West Main St. in Clarksburg.
The couple were married Nov. 11, 1959, at the Adrian Methodist parsonage in Adrian by the Rev. George B. Lantz Jr.
Mrs. Waugh is the former Betty Goodwin, daughter of the late Charles and Martha Shreve Goodwin.

She is a 1959 Buckhannon-Upshur High School graduate.
Mr. Waugh is the son of the late Kenneth and Nona Haymond Waugh.
He is a 1956 graduate of B-UHS.
They are the parents of three children, Darrell Eugene Jr. and wife, Karen, of Beavercreek, Ohio, Robert Warren and wife, Lisa, of Bridgeport and Cynthia Louise and husband, Robert Turner, of Chesterfield, Va.
They have five grandchildren, Jaclyn and Dan Howard of Bridgeport, Lindsey and Justin Mayle of Grafton, Robert Michael Waugh of Fairborn, Ohio, Katherine Michelle Waugh of Beavercreek, Ohio, and Wesley Louis Muto of Chesterfield, Va.
The Waughs are great-grandparents to Danika Howard and Brynna Mayle.
One great-granddaughter, Kylie Nicole Waugh is deceased.
