Mr. and Mrs. Jim Wheeler of Elkins marked their 50th wedding anniversary on Nov. 6.
They were married Nov. 6, 1959, at the United Methodist Church in Mount Clare with the Rev. Galey Carpenter officiating.
Mrs. Wheeler is the former Marlea Miller, daughter of the late Charles and Luella Miller. She is the owner of Marlea's, which offers apparel for men and women, in Elkins.

Mr. Wheeler is the son of the late Lester and Nora Wheeler. He is the owner of Wheelers Sports in Elkins.
Mr. and Mrs. Wheeler have two sons, David Wheeler and wife, Sherri, of Elkins and Brian Wheeler and wife, Wendy, of Elkins. They have one grandson, Jaron Wheeler of Elkins.
Mr. and Mrs. Wheeler will celebrate their anniversary at a later date at the Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs.
