Ronald and Sandra Jones will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Wednesday.
The couple was married Dec. 23, 1959, at Davis Memorial Presbyterian Church by Dr. Warner DuBose Jr.
Mrs. Jones is the daughter of the late John and Margaret Daugherty.

Mr. Jones is the son of the late Frank and Thelma Jones. He is retired from the U.S. Army.
They are the parents of Martin Jones and Dianne and husband, Frank Volitis. They also have two grandchildren, Mollie Claire and Evan Jones.
