Murray K. Reed of Elkins and Janette Gerasco Caplan of Philadelphia, Pa., formerly of Martinsburg, announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Lauren Janelle Reed, to Ray Edward Walls, son of Buddy and Tammy Walls of Kearneysville.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Samuel E. and Mary L. Gerasco, and H. Kenneth and Norma L. Reed of Elkins. She holds a bachelor's degree in elementary education and is employed as a fourth-grade teacher for Jefferson County Schools.
Her fiance is the grandson of Ray and Nora Walls of Kearneysville, and Albert and Polly Holmes of Charles Town. He graduated from Shepherd University in 2006 with a degree in environmental science. He currently is employed by Walls Vault Service.
