Make 2010 memorable, productive

January 2, 2010
The Inter-Mountain

New Year's resolutions are fickle things. Most people that make them find it nearly impossible to keep them. Instead of trying to change everything about your life in 2010, take something smaller and bring something new into your life. From finding a hobby to getting your finances in order, getting together a new you is easy when the steps are small ones.

When it comes to finding a little extra money in the new year, maybe what you need is to spend some time with a professional who will be able to point you in the right direction. One local financial adviser put together some information on how to go about making sure 2010 begins and ends with a little more money coming in than going out.

Once there is a little more money and some of the bills from the holiday season are paid off, the question is what to do with it. The answer might be to pick up a hobby. Whatever your interests, there is some facet of it you can include in a past time. Area stores are geared toward finding the tools that will make the hobby you choose easy and fun.

These ideas and many others including dropping a couple holiday pounds, picking up knitting and simply finding ways to spend time with family and friends can be found here to create a happy, healthy and wealthy "New Year, New You."
