Two men, including Wesley Scott Cale Sr., were indicted by a Tucker County grand jury and arraigned before Circuit Judge Lynn Nelson Tuesday.

Cale, 42, was indicted on one count of first-degree murder for allegedly killing his former wife, Bonnie Cale, in 2002.

Attorney Daniel James was not able to attend his client's arraignment but James' son, attorney Nicholas James, was in court to represent Scott Cale.

Bonnie Cale had been reported missing by her husband in April 2002. Her vehicle was later found in Webster County, but any leads police pursued as to her whereabouts were fruitless.

On Nov. 14, 2009, West Virginia State Police found human remains buried under an out building on Scott Cale's property. Later, concealment of a deceased body charges were brought against Scott Cale, but those charges were dropped when forensic results identified the remains as those of Scott Cale's ex-wife.

Scott Cale is being held in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail without bond. His next court appearance will be in a pre-trial motion hearing scheduled for March 26.

James F. Bowley II, 51, of Parsons was indicted on the charge of child abuse resulting in injury. According to the indictment, the incident, involving a 13-year-old girl, happened on or around Jan. 7.

Bowley's attorney, Tim Prentice, was present and his client's bond was reduced from $15,000 to a $5,000 cash or surety bond. Bowley is being held in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail and is also scheduled to appear for pre-trial motion hearing on March 26.

Bowley was long overdue for this...I am surprised that he was arrested for abuse; I was always under the assumption that pot and cocain were illegal...hmmm...talk about withdrawal

Shouldn't there be at least one more arrest in the murder case?

Anyone that hunts a child needs to be in there. Maybe they will put him with Scott and they can beat on each other. They both have bad reps.
