Ben and Evelyn White of Elkins will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Thursday.
The couple were married on March 25, 1960, in Oakland, Md.
Mr. White is the son of the late Ray and Eva White. He is retired from the U.S. Forest Service.

Mrs. White is the former Evelyn Fisher, daughter of Hazel Fisher of Elkins and the late Greydon Fisher. She is retired from the Farm Service Agency.
They are the parents of Leann Lesser and husband, Hunter, Marty and wife, Angela, Bennie and wife, Debbie, and Tim and wife, Angie. They are also the grandparents of Latalia, Luke, Diane and Charlize "Charlie" White.
